From the Editor:
Welcome to the second edition of CleveStyle Magazine. An issue rooted in resilience, creativity, and the power of our community to rise, rebuild, and redefine its narrative.
This edition is especially meaningful. As we honor Black history, we are reminded that our stories are not just about where we’ve been, but how we continue to stand, heal, and create space for one another. From legacy to liberation, from style to survival, this issue reflects the many layers of strength within our culture.
We are deeply honored to feature Kar’mell Triplett, an award-winning domestic violence advocate whose voice, courage, and commitment to healing are making a real difference. Alongside her story, we’ve intentionally included resources for safety, support, and help, because awareness must always be paired with action, and no one should feel alone on their journey.
You’ll also find a powerful feature on Black Wall Street, a reminder of Black excellence, economic strength, and the importance of building—and protecting—our own. Its legacy continues to inspire new generations of entrepreneurs, creatives, and visionaries right here in our communities today.
Fashion and beauty take center stage as well, with highlights from fashion designer Jazmine Fischer, whose work reflects bold creativity and purpose, and Whitney Denise, a talented makeup artist and esthetician dedicated to enhancing confidence from the inside out. We’re also excited to showcase CleveStyle’s own branded clothing, alongside curated fashion from trusted retail partners who align with our vision of style with substance.
CleveStyle is more than a magazine—it’s a movement. A platform that celebrates truth, talent, healing, and hope. Thank you for turning these pages with us, for supporting local visionaries, and for being part of a community that believes our stories deserve to be seen, heard, and honored.
